Actually, in the port town I live in, Hallim, during the late summer months, breaching into early September, swallows flood the town of an evening, thronging the telegraph cables, flitting from eave to eave, a cacophony of chirp. It’s quite the evening spectacle. They are quite a stunning bird, hardy, intrepid, elegant, dextrous. A good subject.
